Sunday School

Adult Sunday school is one of Swatara's strengths. We have various adult classes. Sunday school runs from 9:00- 10:00 a.m.

We offer a children's message each week.

Community

The church facilities are a meeting place for VIVA Church Ministry, Inc. (Hispanic congregation), and the Christ Fellowship Prayer Tabernacle (Exacting Truth Ministries).

Missions

The Swatara Church of God designates 10% of the church budget toward missions/missionaries.  In 2025, some of the missions/missionaries being supported are:

                               GEMS Ministry        

GEMS is our ministry to those 55 and over and their spouses. Diamond Diners meet together for food, fellowship and various activities (Call Nancy Hartman at 717-545-2201).

Men's Ministry

The Men's Breakfast meets the first and third Saturdays of each month beginning at 8:00 a.m. in the church kitchen. All men and boys 14 and older are invited. A Bible study follows the breakfast and concludes by 9:00 a.m. Attendance usually runs 30-40. The food is great and the Bible study is even better!
